2014 Best New Hostel in Bali! (Review)
I’ve been to Bali many times, usually i would stay in Poppies area, because it’s cheap and close to everything i needed (beach, restaurants, bars, etc). But it gets too much thou, too many loud annoying tourist in Poppies Kuta over there. Yes, i can’t disagree that the accommodations there are cheap, BUT i gotta say most of them definitely have shitty rooms. I remember many times when i have to wear flip flop when taking a shower, just gross! LOL.
…and today, I’m siting on a cozy sofa in this calming blue themed lobby, having my breakfast and writing a review on a hostel which just officially launched a few weeks ago, Yes I’m at Nau Here Hostel! It’s probably the best hostel I’ve stayed in Bali so far, why? These are the reasons;
It is located in Kuta and must say its location is still central but it’s away from the noisy “boom boom” music you pretty much hear if you stay in Kuta-Legian area. Finding your way to the beach, shops, local and international food is really quite easy.
Nau Here Hostel has pretty much everything, and all for FREE! Free wifi (fast one!) and if you didn’t bring any laptop, they also provide computers for you to use. I stayed in the Capsule Beds – 14 mixed dorm, which i think was AWESOME! *I just love staying in dorms* HAHAHA. The dorm has spacious capsule style beds and each of it goes with reading light, power socket and mini table, pretty much what i need to have a private session with my….laptop. *blushing*.
This well-air conditioned dorm will definitely make you sleep nicely tucked in the blanket. The dorm also have private lockers and shared hot & cold shower room (with free soap, shampoo and towel!). and the best part is, they always keep everything clean and smells good, seriously!
$14/bed/night definitely worth every dime! I gotta say this hostel definitely is the top notch category for international standard hostel.
Tips while staying here:
- Don’t forget to try their top selections of local coffee! *even the people from the hotel across, they drink their coffee at Nau Here.
- They also have private rooms and female only dorms, all with a working AC too!
- Check also their twitter account @nauherehostel, you might find great deals on rooms/beds and the latest event in Bali.
@iamMariza – feeling happy that Bali finally has a good hostel!
