Where Did I Stay on My Last Night in Indonesia? Marino’s Place in Kuta! (Review)

D-1 to my #1YEARinOZ trip, i flew from Yogyakarta to Bali because my $70 flight to Australia departs from DPS Bali (Read How to find the cheapest flight). I only have one night in Bali to settle things up, get every things i need for a one year trip and enjoy (read: party) Bali before leaving Indonesia for 1 year. And those are the reasons why i chose to stay at Marino’s Place, a small boutique accommodation located not far from the main Legian street in Kuta. Yes, Legian is the street where you’d find lots of restaurants, shops, bars and clubs within walking distance. Still, Marino’s place is away from the loud noise you’d normally hear from clubs. I only stayed one night but i think this place is one of the good places for long term stays.

At the same price like other budget hotels in Kuta (get a cheaper rate if you book it via Laguna Trip), you will get a bigger room, waaaay bigger! Check out the bathroom, it’s huge! Even the 5 stars hotel i stayed at in Yogyakarta doesn’t have a bathroom this big. LOL.

In overall review, it has the same facilities (H&C shower, swimming pool, wifi etc). The vibe is pretty chill out too, you can have a chat with other guests when you chill at the lobby. Most of the guests that i’ve met there, they have been staying at Marino’s Place for at least 5 days. So if you are planning to go to Bali, you can also check out this place too.

Cheers,
- @iamMariza, who goes to Bali at least 3 times a year.
